Did you use your Kroger card?
Please tell me it was just a mistake.
I went to Kroger today to use up some of my coupons and when I got to the check out I was expecting every coupon to triple. They didn't. When I started looking through the ad it didn't say anything about doubling/tripling coupons anywhere.
The lady WAS new and seemed confused. I hope that was it.
If not I hope they start tripling again next week. They coupons expire 3/31:sad:
Anyone else having this problem?
PS...I'm in Shreveport, LA.
Did you use your Kroger card?
Well, I went to my Kroger on Tuesday and they doubled. Have not been there since the new sale week started. However, I think that kroger doubles/triples every day. Up to 3 coupons for the same type of item purchased in my area. You should have stopped at the customer service to find out why the coupons did not triple/double.
I did use my Kroger card but she scanned it AFTER my coupons. When I questioned her she said it wouldn't matter if it was before or after. (But she was new so what did she know?)
She did call the manager and he asked her to see if it were in the ad and it wasn't so that is why he told her they wouldn't double/triple. I, too, went on Tuesday and they tripled.
I'll try again next time I go to town.
Yes you definitely need to have you card scanned before the q's are scanned. What I would suggest is that you call the customer service desk at that store and explain to them that the cashier scanned your card last. They should be able to go by your receipt and double/triple your q's by it. Hope you are able to recover your money that is so rightfully yours. I always make sure that they scan my card before they start scanning my items.

That happened to me once. The newbie cashier actually took my keys at the beginning, but put them aside and didn't scan my card until the end... for the 'dramatic effect' according to her.....
I had to go back the next day when I realized her dramatic effect cost me almost $8!!

Yep, card has to go before ANY coupons that you want to D/T.
Please read the FAQ for Kroger so you might avoid these unpleasant surprises in the future.
