Kroger (Texas/Louisiana) ~ Question: doubling of coupon

Hi,

I have a doubt regarding doubling of coupons at Kroger.
Suppose we have an item for $1.00/each and we have 2 coupons for the same product saying $1.00 off when you buy 2 products. Can I use 2 such coupons and buy 2 products for free.

The computers/registers are automatically set to double coupons. At kroger they double 50 cent coupons. One 50 cent coupon is worth 1.00.

You don't double the amount of coupons you give to the cashier. If the coupon reads "$1.00 of when you buy 2" you must buy 2 products.

You can only use one $1/2 coupons with 2 products.
To use 2 coupons that are $1 off 2 items you would need four items.

Yes you would have to buy 4 products to use those coupons

if price is $1 each and Q is $1.00/2 = $0.50 per item on two items OR you can say you are getting one free and paying $1.00 for the first.

Yep! think you have to use your Kroger card, though, for it to double/triple ... and for the items that say "card price" & to get the discount on Kroger brand items you purchase (and earn points to the gasoline reduced price)!!

That's one of the nice things about Kroger ... everyday is double/triple!!
