To the Spring Creek couponer that shops at Kroger (and steals our paper every week)

I'm not really sure this is the right place to address this, but it may be the only place you'll look, because I know you shop at the Coit & Beltline Kroger...

I realize the Saturday copy of the Briefing is free, and that it has coupons in it. But when you get up every Saturday morning and take all of the papers in the neighborhood before the homeowners have a chance to get them, it is STEALING. You've STOLEN my paper 2 of the last 3 weeks. You are not the only couponer in the neighborhood, but you are the only couponer in the neighborhood that I have on our security tape stealing our paper.

So let's resolve this in a reasonable manner. I propose that you wait to take the paper later in the day on Saturday, or even Sunday, so that the people who want the paper can remove it from their yards first. Then go on your crime spreee. I totally get where you're coming from, most people just waste the paper and leave it to rot on their sidewalks, so I would rather it go to good use and save someone some money. It's just that I'd like to use mine too...

I hope this paper thieving will stop, but I'm keeping the tapes, just in case.

Get up early and put a note in the paper telling her you know who she is and that your going to report it. I bet she will stop taking them.

Coupon Karma is a "B" in cases like this!! Someday it will come back around for things like this to the people who do things in a negative way! Hope this gets resolved for you OP!

Some people are UNBELIEVABLE!!! What a nerve. I'd definitely confront her and I'm NOT a confrontational person.

The fact is she's stealing something that belongs to someone else, whether or not they use it is their choice. If you ask them to save the coupons for you, that's one thing. Taking something without asking is just plain wrong.

I really hope this person belongs to this forum and can see this. In the event that they do not, why don't you call your local newspaper and post this same thing in there? Or make a yard sign that he/she is sure to see? Reps to you!!
