I got this check from a complaint that I put in. Several weeks ago they had an event (whatever) at Walmart and no one was there. And on top of that after waiting around, shopping of course...1 1/2 hrs later I met the lady in the parking lot that came to set up. So I was very frustrated that I had made special trip there for the event and there was no one there. So I called them and after several phone calls and several emails I was able to get a response and was told that I would be receiving a check in the mail. I was shocked when i got it cuz it looked liked something my kids would have in a toy game or something, but the cashier took it w/o any problems.

They had promised those that took the survey (i think that every 10th person that submitted the survey) would win $10 grocery check. So after complaining they sent me that.

I must brag on "My Kroger"....yesterday, after a quick lunch run to get the last of my mega deals, while waiting to check out I noticed in another lane, an obvious shelf clearer....definitely not flying anywhere near the radar, with a basket full of mega deals, and not just the limit of 3 deals, she must have had 10 of each of the mega deal items, 10 Ozarka, 10 Domino (last on the shelf), 10 Crisco, 10 Gatorade, 10 Carnation, etc. her basket was overflowing. She was giving the cashier such a hard time about the number of items and trying to match coupons, but the cashier held her own, and even after the shopper tried to close her line by suggesting to the cashier to call a manager, the cashier just politely rang her one transaction (30 items) and helped the shopper push her basket back to the end of the line each time. The cashier and manager even called a sacker to help an elderly couple check out at uscan since they were in line behind this shopper. Although my cashier was distracted by all the commotion, he managed to scan all my cpns correctly and even told me good job on my savings....so kudos to the mgmt & staff at "My Kroger" and shame on you meanie shelf cleaning shopper! Sorry, I know this thread was about our savings brags, but I just could not help it, I LOVE MY KROGER! or at least today I do.
