Just want to say that you guys and HCW I went to kroger again lol, my first transaction was $3.07 for 10 items. Second transaction 38 items 5 which are not in the sale for $28.32.

When I get a free or one that will be free it burns a hole in pocket. Scrubbing bubbles a while ago, a free coupon that turned into a catalina money maker--- I spent them before any catalina deals were known.

I admire holding coupons like that. One day, I'll be there.

15 Powerade (use 10 x $1/1 and b10g5f)...if rang up like yesterday, this will give me
$8.45 in overage + $5 in overage from the megadeal
3 GM cereal (use $1/1, 0.75/1, b2g1f)......$1.25
2 Simply orange (use 2x 0.50/1 doubled)...$3.00
1 Superpretzel (free coupon)...................either 0.50 in overage from the megadeal if
rang up under sale price or potentially more if they use normal price
3 Orville popcorn (use 3x 0.40/1 doubled)...$2.10
4 Glade candles (use 2x $1.50/2)..............$5.00
2 Bic razors (use 2x $2/1)........................$1.00

totals $12.35
-$5 megadeal overage on powerade
-$8.45 overage on powerade b10g5f (potentially)
-0.50 overage on superpretzel (potentially or more)

Wow! Just got back from Kroger. I don't usually do Kroger (had a bad experience about a year ago)...went to the other one in neighboring town. Took two of my kids with me. Got everything I had coupons for...had daughter watch buggies while my son and I checked out, then took it to the car and came back in to check out again. Did I mention it was pouring rain outside? LOL Did 9 orders total! My kroger does not take internet printed so I could not use those coupons. This is what we got:

48 Carnation canned milk (yeah!!!) = Free (.50/2)
22 Mrs. Smith/Edwards pie singles = .50 each ($1.00/2)
12 Stouffer frozen meals = .50 each ($1.00/1)
13 Nailsaver sponges = .49 each (.50/1)
3 Powerade = 1.00 each (no coupon)
10 Danactive yogurt = .50 each ($1.00/1)
36 Ozarka 3ltr = .25 each (.75/3)
12 Toaster strudell = .40 each (.35/1)
2 BC potatoes = 2.00 each (no coupon did have shortcuts .35/1)
2 Bic Razors = Free ($2.00/1)
5 Brut deo = Free ($1.00/1)
7 Domino Sugar = .95 each (.35/1)
7 Quaker Oats = Free (.50/1)
2 Crisco = $1.60 each (.45/1) needed
Halloween clearance = spent $7.10 but one did not ring on clearance - will go back tomorrow and fix it....so only spent $2.10

Total spent: $55.78 - $4.69 (will get tomorrow) = $51.09
Saved: $275.59 + $4.69 = $280.28
That's 85%

I don't usually spend that much but I got a lot of things we really use (canned milk, sugar, oil, water, pie!!!) LOL

The sugar should have only cost .45 each after deal and triples
