| Re: Kroger TX/LA- MEGA Deal BRAG Thread 10/28-11/3 I went almost every day since the first day of the sale, doing multiple transactions on some days, and picked up some essentials along with my mega sale items. I used some $2 Discover card coupons the first few days of the sale, along with shortcuts and cellfire coupons, lots of oyno cats, and overage on some items to keep my totals low. Non mega sale items: 4lb. pork roast $4.27 6 reynold’s muffin cups .48 3 loaves bread $2.10 1 gal milk $2.25 1 quart choc. Milk .75 1 bounty basic .34 12 frank’s hot sauce $0 2 Kroger generic HH $1.06 6 pillsbury 5ct biscuits $0 6 reach floss $0 3 glass plus cleaner $2.97 4 idahoan potatoes $.21 1 king size reeses $1 33 yakisoba ramen $0 ----- Mega sale: 8 dole fruit cups 4pk 4 cheez-its 11 nestle toll house morsels 10 snuggle fabric softner 12 keebler cookies 20 rolaids 23 Activia yogurt 28 tombstone pizzas 45 hormel chili 35 del monte tomatoes 37 lol butter 36 bc potatoes 20 dole trop. fruit cans 12 dole mandarin oranges 96 carnation evap. milk 22 banquet sausage 45 dr. pepper 2liters 6 coke 2liters = $52.44 oop Total savings $951.70 (95%) + still have a $5 oyno from Tombstone pizzas And sent in for $15 Tombstone helps pay your bills rebate. I'm pretty happy!

| Re: Kroger TX/LA- MEGA Deal BRAG Thread 10/28-11/3 I have been keeping a running tally of my spending and saving during this mega event and I am ready to post my totals. I'm actually quite proud of myself, although I wish I'd have kept the item totals as well as the other totals, oh well, maybe next time.
I spent a total of 168.03 and brought home 623 items.
With coupons and Kroger savings, I saved 1158.35!!!
I have receipts for rebates also. If they all come in, I will get back 110.00.

| Re: Kroger TX/LA- MEGA Deal BRAG Thread 10/28-11/3 I'm doing the Tombstone rebate, the Glade rebates, Kellogg's Calender rebates, Activia, and a Blue Rhino propane tank exchange.
The Tombstone and Glade I'm submitting at my uncle's house as well as mine.

| Re: Kroger TX/LA- MEGA Deal BRAG Thread 10/28-11/3 Got my final tally together. I did use several $2 Discover card coupons to get my costs down. Remember, I shop for 4 households and then some.
Non mega items: 1 Tinkerbell BluRay/Dvd combo 2 Bottles of wine 3 Kids books 3 Sunsweet craisins 4 Sunsweet jumbo raisins 4 2lb bricks of Velvetta (yummy!) 5 Selection of fruit at about $1 each(apples, bananas, oranges) 4 cans Ro*tel 2 jars of Jelly 2 Loafs of Bread 2 bags of Sara Lee mini bagels 2 Dozen eggs 2 Energizer batteries 4 packs 2 fresh chicken breast tenders(priced at $3 each) 2 Airwick 2 Nestle ready to drink 1 pack of M&M’s(to not go negative) 1 Comfort baby wipes 1 Kroger ibuprofen 24 count 1 Diet dp 20 oz 6 Pepperoni packets 15 Reach floss 18 Franks hot sauce 30 Yakisoba 48 Pillsbury Grands Jr
Mega sale items 1 Snuggle 1 Zesta crackers 1 Yo plus yogurt 2 Chex Mix 2 Pepperidge Farm crackers 2 Daisy Sour cream 2 Heinz ketcup 2 Dannon crush cups 4 packs 3 bags Fritos 3 Land o Lake butter 3 Propel 4 Orbit gum 4 Ghiradelli brownies 5 Promise spread 6 Frozen veggies 6 Dole mandarin oranges 7 Dole fruit bowls 9 boxes Krusteaz pancake mix 10 Uncle Bens rice 10 Pepperidge Farm frozen breads 30 Tombstone pizza 44 Diet DP 2 liters 45 Halls 46 pouches of tuna 50 Ricola 52 bags of Keebler cookies 54 BC potatoes 86 packets of Rolaids 91 cans of Chili 110 Carnation milk
Cost oop(actual money I paid): $ 36.27
Cost in catalinas(I roll these) : $ 49.75
Earned in catalinas : $ 44.25
Total cost(cost oop+cost in cats-earned in cats) :$ 41.77
854 items total or $0.05 an item
Will mail in for $ 49.98 in rebates
(2 Pepperidge farm, 2 $10 TStone, 1 Kelloggs calendar, 1 $15 Tstone utility) and have 5 pizzas toward another Tstone utility
so $ 41.77 + 2.64(cost of stamps) - $ 49.98 = $ 5.57 profit
*and before anyone asks where I put all this stuff is . I have already distributed to family and my mom took the rest to donate to her elderly neighbors (they live out in the middle of nowhere!)
