Not sure who has a upromise account already, but if you do, they have a new program with Kroger, Randall's and CVS.
You can load coupons onto your shopper card and get instant savings for college.

Instead of saving money on your grocery bill, you get the money back in your upromise savings plan. They offer new coupons every month. It does not spell it out, but it appears these can be combined with manufacturer coupons too.

I know some friends that just cash out their Upromise every 3 months, so this is almost like getting a refund for the value of the coupon.

I guess this sounds selfish, but the way that me and my husband do this is right now we are putting it towards his school loan, after that is paid off I will be splitting it four ways........ we just signed up a month ago, seems unfair to the child that is already 12.
Oh well, I suppose that is better than what my parents put away for me.....

nope, not selfish at all. my oldest gets 100% of ours, in two years I will take her off (she will be done) and the rest will be split 60/40 for the other two, since one will start a year before the other.

it really does not matter, you can change it around a million times.
