Re: Kroger is tightening up on coupon fraud I'm not in Texas..I'm in Ohio...but I've noticed that the Kroger cashiers here have started getting pickier about coupons. They're still very nice about it, but they're taking the time to read them more carefully before they scan them. A few days ago, the cashier that I went to was doing this, so I asked if there was a problem. (I go to her a lot, and she's always very nice.) She told me that they were told to look closer at the any coupon, since there had been an increase in the number of coupons being misused (product not being bought, not enough items being bought, expired qs, etc.) It just irritates me, that people can potentially ruin this for those of us who go by the book.
