I wish they would tighten up on the clerks that double scan items, don't scan every coupon, and pocket my catalinas.
I see a lot more of that at my Kroger then of other couponers clearing the shelves.
Just today I gave a girl 18 coupons and she only scanned 15 of them. I caught 2 of my .35 pillsbury went MIA & I noticed after paying she did not scan my free bread coupon too and she put that one aside next to her register. It is frustrating :(

At both Walgreens and Kroger I have to ask for my catalinas and sometimes point at them when they are coming out.

I think crappy customer service & coupon fraud is like the chicken & the egg thing.
I don't know which came first - but finger pointing needs to stop and Kroger needs to step up the the plate and treat their couponing customers like the valued customers they are serving- coupons or not!

I get embarrassed if I hand them an incorrect coupon. Like getting one product when the coupon says two.
It has only happened when my kids are with me.
They are nice about it, but I feel so stupid.

I have never had a problem at my Kroger. they scan each one I give them, they stop and punch them in manually if they don't scan. I've never, ever caught them skipping one. they are clear about their policy and fair, in my opinion. I'd be so frustrated if I had the problems some of you have encountered! so I hope they straighten up for you!!

Until the last couple of months, I've used coupons sporadically ... when it was "convenient" and I remembered them (yep, I know, "20 lashes with a wet noodle!").

I don't recall having much, if any problems with them, from any store.

I DO often times take advantage of the LMT 2 packages of meat with add'l $10 purchase. I always grab 4 packages, 2 sets of $10 add'l items, and sort them into different piles. Then, when I go up to the register, I just tell the cashier, "Okay ... this is what I'm going to do, and if I need to go through the line twice, fine; if you need to do it as two orders, fine; if you can do it all as one order, fine -- just tell me how you have to have me do it!" -- (Of course, I'm speaking nicely, but they understand that I AM going to achieve my objective! it's just a matter of "how" I'm going to do it!) I've had different ones tell me different answers. I just thank them and do as they've instructed me.

I have had a couple tell me I couldn't do it at all ... I just said thanks, paid for one order, went and got in the next line, and paid for the second order. It just wasn't worth getting into a confrontation about.

Then, again, I'm generally shopping alone and during a weekday, so ...
