Kroger (Texas/Louisiana) ~ Question: Mega Sale?

Well, I just discovered this mega sale and I certainly plan on going this week and taking advantage of all the items 10 for 10.

Question:

If I end up buying $75 or more as the grand total, will the $5 off be taken after the grand total, or will it take $5 as the cashier checks them out?
I'd like to know since I have Krogers entertainment book coupon ( I can't rememeber the amt, but I think I have to spend $75 at least in order to use the Kroger's coupon, on top of the manf. coupon)

My Kroger takes the 5.00 off at the end of the order before the total. I know that is not a good thing for you for your total. I am sorry it won't work as well for you as you planned. But I hope you still find a way to get a great deal.

I must remember its' not 10 for 10 it's any 10 items under the "mega deal" rule.

So, if it's $2.50 and a $1 item or $3.50 item, you can use all of them in combo as part of the mega 10, but they will not be $1 each. Each will still be it's respective price, then the $5 mega deal is deducted, then mfg. coupon.

I went to Kroger today and all the tags were changed... no mega deal. there were several 10/$10 deals.
