Re: Best price for bonless/skinless chicken breasts Zoey's Mom has the right idea, instead of looking at "per pack" prices, look at per POUND prices and then you'll be sure to get good deals every time. I usually do meat manager specials and pay between .49 and .79 per pound for whole cut up or legs/thighs. I'll pay up to 1.99 if I need boneless skinless breasts, but I prefer to stock up when I get them for 1.49 per pound or less. Honestly, I don't like Kroger's meat as well as Albertsons. It's probably just my store. It's older and the cases leave a lot to be desired. Plus, the cuts don't seem as generous. |
