So this morning I bought 6 herbal essence 3shampoo/3conditioners at Kroger.

The tag said 2 for $5.

I bought 6.....because I read this was the best way to work the deal.

Used 3 $3/2q
And saved an additional $6 from the $3 off 3 P&G coupon

my total came out to be $3.50 when I thought it was going to be FREE (plus tax).
I tried to tell the cashier I should have received the deal for free but he said you had your coupons and your extra savings taken off.... so I went ahead and bought it but took everything over to customer service- explained to her and she looked at the reciept and said that it looked like I didn't get part of the P&G deal.

On my receipt it shows-
MC scanned coupon $3 (3times).........................................$ 9.00-T
RD (not sure what that stands for) $3 off P&G total.............. 3
MC P&G $3 off Total .................................................. .....$3.00-F

So she went ahead and gave me my $3 back-- and I walked out with a big smile knowing that I got 6 bottles for .50cents!

anyone know what happened when I checked out or should it have been $3.50? this was all that I purchased.

The deal wasn't working right at my store either. I had the exact items from the picture in the ad, and there were no tags marking it on the shelf. The orange colored bottle was shampoo plus conditioner, and it was producing the -3.00 But the blue 12oz bottles were not.

I took it to customer service and they fixed it for me. Love free shampoo!

I just went to my Kroger and they gave me a hard time. I bought 6 bottles and at first the cashier told me I had to pay $3.33 but then I had to explain to the FLOOR SUPERVISOR what I was doing so by the time he finished the new total was -$2.67? I dont know what he did but I didnt argue and just took the shampoo and didnt even ask for the money!!

where did you find the coupon for the P&G products? I was on the website and didn't see that. Was it in the insert from the paper?

I got the coupons in Sunday's paper. I bought 3 papers.

Today's paper had an insert in them-- and that q was in there.

Just got back from a quick trip to Kroger (next door to office). Since the P&G deal is mix & match, and I only had a few bucks for the salad bar, I bought....

2 HE shamp @ 2.50 ea.
1 deod @ 2.39
- $3/2 HE
- $1 deod (.50 dbl)
- $3 P&G deal
= .39 & tax!

Got some goodies & lunch for under $3.00

Hi all!

My haul today was:

4 cans of planters - 4q's for $12 off total
6 herbal essences shampoos 2 in 1 - 3q's for $9 off total
15pks of kool-aid
1 Kraft cheese - 1q for $2.89
1 cascade bottle for dishwasher - 1q for $1 off
1 box of Gain laundry detergent - 1q for $1 off
3 Crest toothpastes - 3q's for $3 off total

After the P&G deal, coupons and 1 cat for $6.50 from previous planters buy, total was $3.30. And I received a cat for $5.00.

I had to go back and get $3 back because one of the toothpastes rang us as toothpaste as opposed to Crest so, I didn't get the $3 off...so be on the lookout.

While there I bought 2 bottles of All for baby - discontinued price of $2.81, 2 q's for $0.50 off each - doubled... and one more Sunday newspaper. Used my $5 cat and paid $0.51cents

Can you do 2 of the P&G transactions in 1 deal? Maybe that is why people are having trouble with only 1 $3 discount coming off?
