The upcoming OM hotdog sale - two coupons or one?

Okay, I see both side of the story.... Which one is the correct use of the coupons?

We should be getting the BOGO Oscar Meyer coupon deal this next week. I have multiple coupons to use on this sale and a freezer without hotdogs. I know, the inhumanity of no hotdogs for two 5 year olds.

Scenario One -
I purchased one item and Kroger/OM has "given" the item as free. Only one manufacturer coupon is applicable.

Scenario Two -
I purchased one item and the sale provides for the second item at no cost. Two manufacturer coupons are permissable because each item was rung up by the cashier as a sale.

Scenario Three -
The cash register will allow for the two coupons to be utilized and just take the deal and run! (The free items come off at the end when the cashier hits the total key. However, the computer programming does not register it and still sees that you purchased two items.)

So, what's the verdict?

Thanks for replying!!! I did not get the ad early, notice the "should".... there is always the distinct possibilibity that it won't happen. I was looking at the other Kroger forums whose sales start today and it seems to be consistent among the ads. I just want to do the least amount of OOP for this purchase since I KNOW ahead of time that I be "purchasing"/coming home with twenty packages. This should keep us in hotdogs for a little while!!!

Here's my 2c -- when does your store savings come off? Even with scanning my card at the beginning of the order, at one of my stores, the savings do not come off until the very end, after coupons. So until I'm done with all my coupons, it still looks like I've bought and will pay for two.

At the other stores, I get the savings as items are rung up, but they ring 1/2 price on b1g1 instead of one full and one zero. So there again I can use 2 coupons

Actually, I can't think of a time that I've ever NOT been able to use 2 coupons on b1g1.

What coupon are you using for this deal? I don't see a BOGO coupon in the database.
