Kroger email about coupon policy I dont know where to post this,so I started a new thread,I hope someone can move it where it belongs. This is an email I received from Kroger as a response to my email to them.
Dear Ms. McDevitt:
Thank you for contacting The Kroger Co. regarding our coupon policy.
The policy is as follows:
? We reserve the right to limit quantities so that all shoppers may be
able to purchase all of their needs.
? We will double coupons up to $0.50 and triple up to $0.39 everyday.
? Coupons over $0.50 will be redeemed for face value.
? We will redeem only one double or triple coupon per like item.
We do accept Internet coupons, providing the following is true:
? The coupon is not for a free product or for more than 75% off the
original cost - we do not accept those
from the Internet.
? The coupon scans properly at the register. If the registers do not
register, it is most likely not a valid
coupon.
? The coupon is not altered in any way.
I have forwarded the information to store management as well, so that
they can relay the information to their team.
Again, I do apologize for any confusion and inconvenience. If we can be
of further assistance, please feel free to call
us at 800-576-4377. Thanks again for contacting Kroger.
Sincerely,
Dawn Arsenault

CUSTOMER COMMENTS:
I have emailed in the past with a guestion about internet coupons and
was told that you do accept them.I wish I had
saved the email reply and printed it out.My Daughter and I stopped
shopping at Target and returned to Kroger
because we can use our coupons there, but we often have bad experiences
with cashiers who are unaware.Just the
other day,the cashier still tried to refuse even after the store mgr
was called and said to take them. She got very upset
and ugly and went into the office to look it up and see if I was lying
about a link to print coupons being on the
Kroger website. We should not have to go through this, the mgrs always
know the correct answer, why dont they tell
cashiers?Anyway,if you could send me another email outlining the
policy,I would be happy to print a copy to carry
in my purse, hoping to save confrontations and long lines of waiting
customers. |
