4x Fuel Points when you buy a gift card!

I'm sorry if this has already been posted/mentioned, but I didn't see it mentioned anywhere.

Right now, as a back to school promotion, if you buy a gift card that's not a Kroger gift card (made that mistake) or a prepaid money card, you get 4x fuel points.

So if you spent $250 dollars on gift cards, you'll get 1,000 fuel points which means $1 off per gallon of gas. The limit is 35 gallons.

It is a lot of money to spend to save $1 off per gallon, but I thought I'd just mention it in case any of y'all have gifts to buy.

The promotion ends September 10th.

Remember that the Shell gas station gift cards will net the 4x fuel points, and at most of the gas stations they participate in a program between them and Kroger where you can use your Kroger points to save on gas. So if you fill up your tank with $50 anyways, buy the Shell gift card at Kroger and there's a 20c discount already.

My only beef is this - my Shell only gives 10 cents off, regardless if I have 110 or 200 points. So then I would only be able to get the extra cents off at my Kroger gas station.
