Will the BOGO sale run through 8/7 too or just the catalina?

I was disappointed in this deal. It didn't work for me but I am glad you all got in on it:)
It asked the cashier how much was the bogo price and the cashier asked me for the price since they know me. Well I had to tell them 1.92 because that is what they ring up so I didn't get them free but paid 8.00 and got a 5.00 cat back. I figured 3.00 for 8 bags wasn't too bad but I will not be doing the deal again. How did you all get them free?
