Kroger coupon policy and bad taste in mouth!!!

I would have said, "Your store chain allows that freak show to come in and break every coupon rule in the book, and then you tell me I can't buy a reasonable amount to feed my family???"

Because really, it's Kroger that is featured more than any other store.

I find Kroger to be maddening. Why print a flyer that says "unlimited doubling of coupons up to .50" and then say it's up to the manager?
It's misleading and might even be considered bait & switch IMO.

I have one store that actually is unlimited, bless their hearts, but another that limits to 2.
No consistency frustrates customers.

Mostly all the managers at my store are very nice and have worked well with me. The only thing I have to say that is kind of bad about them is, I tried to special order the nesquik and I could not because of some BS but he did offer me the next size up (10.3 oz) for .99 but I could not use my coupons with it. :(

Not only does it say WYB 10 but it also say MIX & MATCH. Doesn't matching mean all same item

I have 1 Fry's that will only d/t up to 3 like coupons, but the one I went to yesterday before I even took my items out of the cart I asked if they d/t more than 3 alike coupons. Her answer . . . . . . we d/t ALL coupons

Don't the MEGA DEALS say "WYB 10" you get the sale price? Why is it OK to BUY ten but not use ten coupons? Seems OK to use ten one dollar bills though to pay for those ten items-LOL!

Hi, OP here, I saw the episodes where Kroger's was featured after my encounter with the store, or I definitely would have said something. (I think I was mostly in shock at the manager's response). Though, I do wish I had a camera man with me sometimes, just so I wouldn't have to make so many trips when it's a good deal. I have Food Lion and Lowes Food where I live, and they stand by their coupon policy. I don't mind a store having a policy, just so that it doesn't change while I'm standing in line. Oh, and the store I was visiting was in Roanoke, Virginia. Won't make that mistake again.

I just watched an episode of extreme couponing where Kroger actually gave the woman a $50 GC for the excess and she did something like $3100 in coupons if I have my episodes straight.

Is that the Kelly Woman? IF so she only received .31 back and the other georgia woman payed only 20 dollars. I think the person you are talking about lives in another state, she was the one married to the asian.

Ran into limits again tonight at the Hartselle store. Had problems with them last year so I called ahead this year.
Was told no limits - but wham - hit me with them when we got there.

Went with a group to shop the megas tonight. Of course the same thing happened this year - only this year we got the,,,,, just this time spheal,,,,,,, so we got our deals.
Probably cause we called ahead and told them how far we drove after we called ahead.


The self ck out cashier whispered that Decatur may not follow the same rules and they didn't.
The Madison one didn't have limits either. Even went to the stockroom to pull stuff off the truck for us. Very nice store!!!!!

I spoke with the district office last year and was assured it was a rogue manager that had the 3 like coupon policy and it was not kroger's policy to limit coupons on a mega.
Since the same thing happened again at that store this year,,,,, won't even stop next year.
We will drive right on past this managers store from now on.
Last year he droned on about people yard selling their loot and how customers can't get their items because of the couponers. This was b4 the EC show too.

I may have the people mixed up but I know I watch a woman get back $57 back from a kroger store.
