no more combining?

I have always been able to combine ecoupons and paper coupons. always, even with managers there, there has never been a problem. Then today, for the first time in years, I was told that I can no longer use ecoupons (loaded on my card) and paper ones together. When on earth did this happen? There were no 'beeps' last week, then suddenly there are?! Almost every single coupon I gave them beeped. I have never had a problem at this kroger before. Those ecoupons are practically worthless by themselves, and if I cannot take them off my card to use a more worthwhile paper one.... that's totally unfair!

Does anyone know if this is really true, that you can no longer combine? or was it just some cashier on a high horse?

Actually this has been their policy for sometime now. Guess they just decided to upgrade their registers to enforce it.

yes its been the coupons rules for a long time now...you were just getting lucky at your store.

interesting... you learn something new each day. Now I feel bad cuz it took this long to find out and feel silly for not knowing sooner

You aren't the only one. I just learned it today as well. At least my e coupons were the same value as my printable one.

So does this mean we need to present our MQ BEFORE our Kroger Plus card so that we can use the higher dollar MQ's??

i've heard waiting till the end to give your card causes no doubles. but never tested it. if the card has coupons on it, they will always apply. no matter what.
