eCoupons at Kroger
I understand that Kroger's coupon policy does not permit using a Manufacturer's eCoupon and a Manufacturer's paper coupon on one item. Here is my question. Let's say I load a bunch of eCoupons to my card, and one of them is a .30/1 coupon. A few weeks later I get a $1.00/1 for that same item in one of the newspaper inserts. I go to Kroger and hand over the $1.00/1 coupon... the register should reject it because I already "used" the eCoupon by handing the cashier my Kroger Plus card. I would of course want to use the $1.00 off instead of the .30 off, so how should I do this? I read somewhere that you can have the cashier ring up everything including your paper coupons and then let them scan the Plus card... I know if you hand over the plus card at the end of the transaction you will see your total drop because of the regular Plus card savings, but I have also heard that if you don't hand over the card until the end that the paper coupons will not double. Does anyone have any experience with this? I do not want to use both the electronic and paper coupons, but I just want to figure out how I can load eCoupons to the card and then still choose to use a paper one instead without having to remember to delete it before I go to the store and try to use my paper coupon.

Re: eCoupons at Kroger
There is no way to refuse the e-coupons. It's somewhere in the new policies on the facebook page that all e-coupons come first and there is no way of changing that. So the onlyw ay around it is to not use them, delete first or hope everything else still goes ok if you scan your card last. Once it's applied, they can't take off the e-q.
I've heard the same thing about scanning your card later but I'm always afraid to do that and have it mess everything up. It takes a long time for the registers at my store to catch up when I've scanned it halfway through a transaction before. I am afraid to try at the end.
You only get doubles if you use your card. Anyone want to be a guinea pig ? :lol
