She actually started throwing the internet coupons in the trash. I left a $200+ buggy of groceries (only 4 multiples of vitamin water) sitting there. AND to top that off she was going to refuse to give me my coupons back.............

I called the Kroger at Thomas Crossroads in Newnan and spoke with the manager there and he said come by and see him with my coupons. I got there and they accepted ALL OF THEM with no problem. Guess where I'll be shopping from now on. And if this Kroger starts refusing to take my coupons there's a Publix right next door. The cashiers give you grief there when you use coupons but at least they take them........
Gavette--good luck at the Thomas Crossroads Kroger. I was recently called out and embarassed there when they refused to take my set of 8 **valid** IP Colgate toothbrush coupons for a mega 10 event. They told me they would accept unlimited newspaper coupons but no more than 2 like IP coupons. Makes no sense to me. If you are using 10 like newspaper q's you had to have worked the system via trading, ebay, etc. So how is it any different to work the system by printing on multiple computers??? I will no longer coupon shop at Thomas Crossroads Kroger. Their day manager has been unreasonable and rude to me more than once. Like I said--Good Luck.

If they have it in their policy that they will only take 2 IP's, then I personally think it's unreasonable to expect them to do so anyway. Complaining to corporate about why you think it doesn't make sense is one thing, but arguing w/ managers or calling them "unreasonable" for simply trying to follow the rules is not cool, IMHO.

I joined a store feedback group for kroger, and I let my opinion be known... I stopped in the close kroger about 9 months ago, and noticed a change... I used to get the glare bc "there is that cheap coupon lady again", but I don't anymore... The same cashiers, btw... I honestly don't know if I was imagining the glares, bc the same people who I thought were glaring- have been very talkative and nice- obviously they don't have a problem with me (lol). A cashier I thought hated my coupons, asked me if everything was alright, and why I was only using one coupon (rofl!!). I am thinking that maybe I was the problem- every time I went in that store- something I wanted to buy was unavailable bc everything on the shelf was expired, and other items they were out, the prodoce was iffy, and I am sure it made me very grouchy by the time I got to the checkout! The store is now wonderful- awesome produce (I buy 100% of my produce there, have for the past 9 months!) and finding something expired on the shelf doesn't happen. They are also very coupon friendly- I did the deal on 11/30 using one "save $5 off olay when you buy secret", "$.50/secret deo", and "free olay lotion when you buy olay bodywash" buying one deodorant, one olay bodywash, and one lotion... Definitely the most (and only, lol!) questionable coupon deal I have ever done, and the only problem was finding the lotion on the receipt to know what to take off.

I am in the acworth/kennesaw area- and I regularly buy 6 sale items w/ 6 coupons, never even got a questioning look, much less a refusal... I get 6 papers each week, so that is the amount I buy if it is a good deal.

My grocery (food/cleaners/medications/pet food/paper products/toiltries/light bulbs) budget went from $150/week, to $50-$80/week, and I really appreciate how awesome Publix and Kroger have been when dealing w/ all my coupons and low oop... :)
I am in the Kennesaw area, which Kroger do you shop at? I have had a few issues, but very occasional with mine on Canton Rd, but nothing to get too gripey over.

The one on cherokee st is the one w/ the drastic improvement... The one on Canton Rd is one I went to regularly a few yrs ago (my kids love Shaw Park). The only issue I had w/ the Canton rd Kroger was that they were the only kroger that wouldn't take internet coupons, after the others had lifted the "ban". I walked away from $100 in halloween decorations (full price, lol) at the register bc they refused to take a $1/1 coupon off a bag of candy (just the principle, bc I stopped just for the candy!). Haa, saved me a $100 impulse purchase. My favorite kroger is the one on cobb pkwy in Acworth- it is larger than the rest and sells specialty items the others don't ( like suishi wrappers).

LOL...The one on Canton has not given me a single problem about IP coupons, and I use about half and half. I have also turned in multiples of the IP's and never had an issue with them. But, we are in the process of moving, so looks like the closest Kroger is now going to be Powers Ferry Rd and Delk. (Not too sure about that one, might be driving a little out of the way to go to a little better one!! )

I would have walked away too, and DID at Food Depot when he refused to take my IP's. I told him that that was my first trip in there, he could clearly see I had a cart full of groceries, and that he could take my valid coupons or he could put back all of the groceries. He chose to stock the shelves.
