limit on number of coupons?

This is the second time I have been to Krogers this week and I have been told by the cashier that there is a limit on the number of coupons that you can use on one product. Now they both said limit on the number of coupons per item which means to me one manufact and one store coupon per item but both times they implied that it was 2 coupons per product

This time I asked the cashier was this a new policy and was it store specific and was told that they have actually been doing it for a while and it's from "home office"

Today I bought 5 Kandoo wipes and wanted to use 5 coupons. He said he would let me do it this time but policy is that "you can only use 2 coupons per item" I think the cashiers and this store in particular is confused.

Try talking to customer service. Is the policy 2 coupons per item (1 store & 1 mfg) or 2 like coupons? I sure hope it's not the latter.

It sounds like they are confused too. Because if you bought 5 items and have 5 coupons that is 1 coupon per item. I think they mean you can't use more than 2 of the same coupon per transaction. Blah.

I haven't had that problem so far. If there is a good deal sometimes I have 10 of the same coupon and I haven't had any issues.

Thanks I will make sure to ask customer service next time I shop at this Krogers. I haven't had this problem with any other Krogers, just this one in particular. Thanks

I went to another Krogers today for the rest of my Kandoo wipes :) and I was told that they can only accept one like coupon per transaction so I had to ring up each of my Kandoo wipes separately. Good think I only got four and I was in the self-check out lane.

The cashier was very nice and said this policy went into affect a couple of weeks ago but she wouldn't be surprised if the policy changed again. Needless to say I am beginning to get very frustrated with Krogers.

I went today to get the freebies and I had 10 of the Athenos, and I used only 4 of the Dawn and 4 of the Crest. After saving almost $50 my cashier said she needed to get some coupons too! They better not try that policy change on me!! LOL

Try contacting Kroger Corporate offices, it sounds like your store is confused!

I am wondering if it has anything to do with the new wording on the P&G coupons that say "limit 4 like coupons in the same shopping trip"....which IMHO is a TRIP!! :)

Thought this interesting cause at the Kroger's in the Cincinnati area it clearly reads on a big sign out front "UNLIMITED DOUBLE COUPONS"

Followup: Visited my Kroger 2 days ago & used 10 P&G coupons that stated limit of 4 like coupons & my Kroger was fine with it & scanned them all without any problem.

Regardless if the coupons scanned or if your cashier/manager allows it you are going against the wording of the coupons of a limit of 4 like coupons per transaction. This is not allowed at Hotcouponworld. We feel strongly that posts here at HCW go by the wording set forth by the manufactures and stores on their coupons and deals.
