Found out today that the Old Spice deal can be a $2 MM!

this is what I did:

buy:
8 body washes = $2.99 x 8 = $23.92
4 Fresh ap/deo = $3.99 x 4 = $15.96
total, $39.88

use these coupons:
(4) BOGO free body wash = $2.99 x 4 = $11.96
(4) BOGO free Fresh deod = $3.99 x 4 = $15.96
(2) $1/2 any OldSpice item= $1.00 x 2 = $2.00
total coupon value, $29.92

since you've bought 12 Old Spice items, you get 3 $4 promotion deductions for a total of $12 off your transaction

$39.88 - $29.92 - $12 = $2.04 OVERAGE

Great deal you did here. I was a bit confused by your post on the deos too and using 4 BOGO free. Maybe your post was a teeny bit snippy.

Ladies, I believe this is incorrect. Although I am waiting on verification.

Here's why:

Piggybacking is okay, but you cannot use qualifiers twice. In the OP's scenario, she got 4 body washes free by buying 4 bodywashes. Those first 4 body washers are "qualifiers." They cannot be used a second time to get the deodorant free.

However, you can use the buy deodorant & get body wash free coupon & then the deodorant becomes the qualifier for the remaining 4 body washes & that is piggybacking. Then you use the 2 coupons for $1/2 on the deodorant.

The OP's concept is correct, the scenario, however, is incorrect because of the coupon used.

Again, I'm waiting for another mod to verify that I understand this correctly. It's uber confusing to say the least.
