Am I in the right forum?? Pigeon Forge TN

Help! We are going to be heading to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, TN area (zip code 37863) this week, and I wanted to get my Kroger shopping list ready. What Kroger Forum is correct for this area?? Not sure, but think I might need the "southeast" -- any help is very much appreciated - Reps!

thanks for the help and reps! we don't have a Kroger (I'm in Greenville, SC) but I always look for one when I'm on vacation! Hoping for some great deals.

Be sure to check out Food City as well, there's some up there too. I usually find some good coupons (tearpads and peelies) there. Also, they bundle up fresh fruit and veggies and then put them on markdown when they're about to go. My local store at least does this and you can get like 4 apples/oranges/pears or all mixed together for 99c a bundle most times.


Also, when you go to kroger stop by customer service first and ask their coupon policy on doubles. Most in the southeast region will double coupons up to 50c and an unlimited like number will double, but I haven't shopped in Pigeon Forge so they may limit how many they'll double in a transaction.


(PS. There's a Russel Stover chocolate outlet there, don't even bother. They want like $10 almost for a pack the size you can get at Walmart for $5 or $6. But the Bass Pro Shops just past there, across the highway, is SUPER nice and worth driving that bit out of PF to get to it if you all are outdoorsy)

My DH insists we have 6 children and vacation or not, they eat allot. We are going to stay at a resort in Gatlinburg for 7 days. Full kitchen, Dinner room, etc., so we'll eat most meals in. We went last year and got tons of stuff free or cheap. I tell ya, a resort is the way to go for a big family.

Make sure you get a Kroger card though...because they won't double your coupons without it. BTW...I am just over the hill in Townsend!! Enjoy your stay here!
