Covergirl a MONEY MAKER!

I didn't want this to get buried in the ad thread this week.

The coupons that came out on Sunday make CG this week MM! ($2.50/2 and $1/1).

The ones that are MM are sponges, shapeners, and nailpolish.

I went last night, and here are the prices AFTER discount.

Sponges (various) - $1.02
Shapener - $1.09
Nailpolish - $.94
Eye Shadow - $1.29

Cheekers - $1.99 (not MM but, cheap)

Oh, and the Old Spice Fresh Collection Anti-Perspirant is a MM too. With the BOGO coupon from this weeks P&G and the $3/2 Kroger.com loadable. They are $2.50 (after discount) at the store. The coupon takes $3.50 off.

Just a note for the newbies these coupons ALWAYS beep at Kroger so if you have a picky store be prepared for the fight. Cashiers and Mgrs make up all sorts of reasons coupons beep.

Mine didn't beep, except the BOGO that asked for price.

The $1/1 or $2.50 doesn't beep, since the $4 comes off at the end. So the computer still thinks it is $1.94.

No I was not talking about it being overage regardless of that it is a 992 so it always beeps at all the Krogers here. Maybe you didnt notice it beeped or maybe your store has them programmed differently than all of ours but here any coupon with 992 in it beeps even if you buy the exact item pictured/worded.
Still a great deal and wasnt trying to discourage but I know someone is gonna come back and say my store wouldnt take it on those b/c it beeped so it must not be good on those items. So, just a warning that its not the item that is wrong its the coupon. It says ANY covergirl item so it should be fine with the tools mentioned and just dont want some cranky cashier telling a newbie its not just b/c its a beeper.

Ah, I see. But, no I was listening for it to beep. Our Kroger is about a year old (maybe less, maybe more, I forget). Anyways it is fairly new. And I rarely have trouble with these registers beeping, maybe the fact it is newer is why. I don't know. I didn't have kids with me this trip, so I had nothing better to do, then listen for beeping.

There might be somebody in your area, that knows how your store deals with BOGO sale with a BOGO coupon (ours rings up 1/2 price, so it doesn't matter to our managers.)

Well that is good! I wish they would fix em here! I refuse to buy Suave because they always beep and its not worth the hassle!

But yea it is a great deal and thank you for posting I just didnt want someone to get there and get told some bogus reason for it beeping and come back and fuss that its not right when it is. Ya know what I mean vern?
