Kroger Southeast - Trial partnership between Kroger and Shell

What has changed with your fuel program?
The fuel program now allows you to receive greater discounts on fuel purchases at Kroger and at participating Shell locations. For each increment of 100 Points redeemed at the pump, 10¢ off per gallon is awarded up to $1 off per gallon.
Example:

* 100 Points = 10¢ off per gallon of fuel for 1 fill-up
* 200 Points = 20¢ off per gallon of fuel for 1 fill-up
* 1,000 Points = $1 off per gallon of fuel for 1 fill-up

Filled up my son's car yesterday using my Kroger mastercard (gives an extra 5¢). I had 800 points, 85¢ per gallon came off. So $1.64 per gallon. however, bought a few things this morning and my receipt still says I have 800 points.

huh- this thread was in the southeast section so I didn't read it (thanks for the link John!) since we're not in the Southeast region, but Louisville region- I wonder if any Shells around here are participating in this or if you have to get gas at the Kroger pumps? hmmm.

rats, I was reading the info and it appears that while Shell stations are participating here, the deal of up to $1 off is not yet good in the Nashville area, only Knoxville. :(

I went to Kroger yesterday and was thrilled when it asked me if I wanted $0.20 off each gallon. I am in the Richmond Virginia area, and it's working great for us here! I hope they keep it up.
