Round up to help flood victims
Krogers around metro Atlanta are teaming up with the Salvation Army to assist flood victims in the area. When you shop, tell your cashier to round up your total and the extra will be donated to the Salvation Army. You can also of course make a regular donation in addition to the rounding up. It's surprising how many families have been displaced and lost everything. Here where we never thought we had to worry about flooding. Especially sad are those people who came here from New Orleans to start over after Katrina and now the same thing has happened to them again. I think I would just have to go live on top of a mountain somewhere.

Also, I saw an ad where you can drop off donated school supplies to flood victims at School Box stores.

I wish they would put out food collection bins. I could practically fill one up. Hmm, I wonder if there is someplace not to far away to donate it all.
