Can I buy a Kroger GC with pharmacy voucher??

I was wondering if I could buy a gc with the pharmacy credit on my Kroger card from script transfers I did yesterday? I have $50. Has anyone tried/done this? I need to get another script for my son that is 32.00(brand name drug copay) and it would help if I had a gc to pay for that, then I could use the rest for groceries later this week. Of course I would collect another pharmacy credit of $25 since the new script would be a transfer as well. TIA!!

Nope. It's against Kroger's policy.

The prescription reward is for groceries. It won't work for cigs, beer or giftcards.
