the $5 is off NON p&G items, so you will have to get $5 worth of other stuff. Your dusters will be $7.14. HTH

Your right, but if you were buying other non-P&G stuff anyhow it is easier mathwise sometimes to say it is off the P&G stuff.

Example

Dusters after coupons =$7.14
Milk = $3.19
Bread = $2

Technically speaking it would make .19 for the milk and the bread. But, if you were going to buy those with or without the $5 anyhow since you need them. Might as well say it is off the P&G. Do you catch what I mean. Or is it as clear as mud?

When other posters say stuff like $2.14 for all the dusters. It is implied that it actually off the other stuff in their buggy. But, often times they don't want to write out they actually had to get milk, bread, eggs, and a chocolate bar for their husband.

I have a coupon for $1.50 off Cascade that someone coupon fairied in the store! It is one of those that Kroger mails to you directly (I don't get any of those--I have tried fixing it with them twice and it has never gotten fixed so I just get the best customer catalinas argh). I will also use the .50 off that doubles. I think that is a pretty good deal for two Cascades, $4.50. I have never seen it go BOGO at my store, so I have to pay top dollar for it. I really like Electrosol, too. Now if only I can get the magical $2.50 Electrosol coupon...then I'll really get set on dishwashing detergent. ....I'm waiting anxiously for DH to bring the paper home.... But, usually we only get the .35/1 coupons for Electrosol!

Gotcha ya! Being relatively new to the boards, if I had written that post, I would have done the deal exactly as it was written and gotten to the check out and been all flustered. Now I understand. Thanks for the lesson.

I am actually going to do the P & G along with the Kellogg's this week. That should reduce OOP in addition to the P&G stuff. There is a $4 off your order special with purchase of 3 boxes of special K cereal or cereal bars @ 2.67 each.

I have $1 off coupons for the Kelloggs cereal, so that brings them down to 5.01, then I'll get the $5 off from the P&G deal, since they are non-P&G products. .01 OOP, essentially free.

But, the Kelloggs deal means I'll get an additional $4 off the $25 worth of P&G stuff.

There is no limit to the Kelloggs deal, so you can do it each time you do the P&G deal.

i know a lady that cleans house that will buy the dusters from me since it will be a great deal to her- i will sell them to her for 1.75 each which after tax and coupons will be about what i have in them and then i will just get $5 worth of free stuff every time! sorry for confusing with the other post also i like the kellogs i dea too i may do a few of those to go with my swiffers if i get my coupons in time

Wow! That is a great deal! I don't have that many P&G coupons, but if I did I'd be racking the swiffers, too!
