Fleischmann's Yeast Money Maker (YMMV) after coupon and cat

I've been doing this deal, but it's a YMMV one. May want to check it out if you make bread though!

Fleischmann's yeast (strip pack) has been $1.49 at my Kroger for some time. I use a .40/1 coupon doubled and get back a .50 OYNO cat for each strip. The cat has been doubling, making this a moneymaker! Here's the math:

1.49
- .80 (.40/1 doubled)
= .69 OOP
-1.00 (.50 OYNO cat doubled)
= .31 net moneymaker for each strip!

oh, and like all kroger cats, these roll. so you can use them to buy more yeast and make more money! :-)

there is a deal that for every yeast strip you buy, a catalina coupon prints for .50 cents off your next order. at my stores, when you use the 50 cent catalina coupon, it doubles to 1.00. hth!

It's on sale this week 10/$10 - I actually didn't know about this deal, just wanted to get some cheap yeast, and was pleasantly surprised to get the Catalina.

And then, to my surprise, it did indeed double! I'm going back to get more!

I got five of them today too and didnt even know about the catalina. They were 1.00 each and I got .90 cents off each one. (.45 cent q's doubled) Then made .50 cents on each one! The cashier used the q's right then and there and I didnt even ask her to. But they didnt double. Oh well..still a great deal.

I was so upset that I did not have a Kroger here in So. California. You guys get all the great deals. I have always had to pay for TP.

While I looked up Ralph's which is here in So. California and guess what! It's a Kroger owned store. So the deals are pretty much the same. I had to drive 10 miles, but I was going to Target to get some free stuff. I got 10 packs. of 4 rolls of Cottonelle TP for .50 ea. after coupons. They are on sale this week for 10 for 1.00 and I used the .25 Q's which doubled to .50.

So now if I go get the freshman's yeast and I get the catalina and use the catalina to get some more TP and the TP should be free right?
