    DD3 Kroger Olay Ribbons Body Wash Deal

    I'm not sure how many of you have seen them, but your Kroger may have 2 packs of the Olay Ribbons body wash that you can use to get a good deal right now. (Mine has had them for awhile...at least a month and a half...and they are just now starting to dwindle down). They are priced at $6.89 for the pack. So, here is what I did tonight:

    -Bought two 2-packs @ $6.89 each
    -Got one pack free from the P&G eSaver B1G1 Olay Ribbons loaded on my card
    -Used two, $2/1 Olay in-shower lotion or body wash, from the 11/2 P&G

    $6.89x2=$13.78
    $13.78-$6.89=$6.89
    $6.89-($2.00x2)=$2.89

    So, you end up with 4 bottles of the 10oz bottles for $2.89, making them about $0.72 each. Pretty good price on this stuff. I like it, so I was happy about this deal.

    *Note that there was a $1/1 off Olay ribbons body wash came at the same time with this one. But, the $2 one included body washes (although the picture only shows the in-shower lotion, body washes are described) and since it was a better, I figured may as well try to use this instead. It's almost like they are trying to trick you into using the $1/1 cause you see the "Olay Ribbons" and figure that means you can't use the other for Olay ribbons. Of course, you could use the $1/1 and get the 4 bottles for 4.89, which is still a pretty good price, comparatively speaking.

    oh my gosh i love the JOJOBA BUTTER ones! however (and this could be a total coincidence) but it seems like every time im using that one our tub stops draining right and starts backing up and i have to use draino...i was wondering if maybe because it has the "bead type" texture if maybe it was doing it...i dont know but i could smell that stuff all day long!

    im editing to say that i would love to smell the JOJOBA BUTTER all day long. the way i worded it, it kind of sounded like i was smelling my stopped up drain all day long...and that would be gross (well really i dont guess shower drains smell) BUT i didnt want you guys to think i was a freak that sat around and sniffed my drain...

    So, you bought 2 bottles and used 3 coupons?
    How did you do that?
    I thought you could only do $1/1 and then the bogo coupon with 2 items.
    I can't be done shopping....I still have coupons!!

    from what I understand the coupons you load on your card can be stacked with other coupons.

    1 bogo esaver coupon on card
    2 $/1 insert coupons

    I am so very sad right now that I have no kroger within an hour of me..... :frown:

    The eSaver coupons you load on your card just come off automatically, so you can use them with other coupons. Sometimes if I load electronic coupons onto my card, I'll forget and it's kind of a surprise that an extra little bit comes off the price.

    Re: Kroger Olay Ribbons Body Wash Deal

    My Kroger did not have the bundled bodywashes, but your post gave me an idea about other P&G deals that may be out there, as the coupons expire next week, so here is what I did today.....

    1 Always Infinity $4.99 -$1.00 eSaver - $2.00 Q = $1.99
    1 Olay Regenerist Cleansing Wipes $5.73 - $1.00 eSaver - $3.00 Q = $1.73
    2 Herbal Essences Conditioners $4.98/2 - $2.00/2 eSaver - $3.00/2 Q = -$.02/2
    2 Olay Ribbons Bodywash $8.58/2 - $4.29 eSaver - $2.00 Q - $2.00 Q = $.29/2
    -------------------

    Total = $5.69

    Savings = $23.27 (85%)
