Kroger 10 Item Mega Event - Starts 11/2

I just acquired a copy of next week's ad while I was at work today. Kroger is going to be doing the 10 Item Mega Event again where if you buy 10 items in the promotion you receive $5 off. First a question, then a list of some of the items: If I have coupons for free items from this list, and buy other items in conjuction with the free ones to a total of 10 items (including the frees) will I still get $5.00 and thus a little overage on the free items, or will the system simply adjust the prices of each to the "sale" price and not give overage?

Yes. The register just counts that you have 10 items and then takes $5 off the order. Doesn't matter how much you paid for the individual items after coupon.

The Carnation evaporated milk ($1) will be free with $0.50/2 (doubled) from 09-14 RP.

The Glade scented oil candles ($2.50) will be free if included in the $2.50 price with $2/1 blinkie on the shelves now. I'm guessing it's only the regular candles and the scented oil refills, though.

Powerade ($1) will be a money maker with $1/1 from 07-13 S.

Ooh, Quaker oatmeal ($1.50) will be free with $0.50/1 (doubled) from 09-07 RP.

Dannon Activa 4 PK there are .50/1 out there and also I found a blinkie at Publix B2G1, so for 10 use 3 B2G1 and 7 .50/1 and get 10 4 pks for $2 if my math is right. WHOOOO HOOOOO

Lysol Spray, .50 each after $2/1, 9/7S1, quick expires 11/3
