Here is what I plan on doing. If it works like last time we can do it three times per transaction...and we were able to mix and match.

6 Speedstick Deodorant 1.50 x 6 = $9.00
4 Kelloggs Corn Flakes (if included) $2.50 x 4= $10.00
10 Franks Hot Sauce $1.50 x 10= $15.00
10 Softsoap 10 x $1.50= $15.00

= $49
-$15 (3 x $5) instant WYB 10 products
-$5/$35 Publix Coupon--I just found out my store DOES accept competitor coupons!
-$10 ($.50 x 10 Franks Hot Sauce--doubled)
-$10 ($.50 x 10 SoftSoap--doubled)
-$4.50 (.75 x 6 Speedstick)
= $4.50

Also have to add a $1 filler (probably the small .99 bottles of Franks or a Powerade so there isn't an OOP)

I might rearrange things to get more cereal. I know it's not the best deal ever...but we need Corn Flakes and Rice Crispies!

I just called my Kroger too and asked them again

Me: Hi, Do you accept competitors coupons.

Them: No.

Me: But, Publix does.

Them: we don't.

Me: Oh darn, it should would be nice.

Me:I talked with one of the managers last night, who said this Kroger store is losing money, not as many customers as they used to. I told him One reason everybody is going over to Publix is for the bogo's they have every week. Now they accept any competitor's coupons on top of manufacter q's really sweeten's the deal.

Them: I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Me: I am too. Well, maybe they'll consider it. Publix is making a killing off the bogo and the competitors coupons. Something to consider.

I got the speedstick q's from a booklet found at Publix a month or so back. That's also where the .50 Softsoap q's are coming from

Sorry your store doesn't accept competitor coupons aclowers :o( I've been shopping at Kroger for years and just found a week ago thanks to another member, amys. I also agree that Publix has way better deals than Kroger with the BOGO and competitor q's! I haven't been to Kroger in a while but this sale looks promising

I know, I'm just heartbroken. We no longer have a Bi-lo. We have to drive nearly an hour away to the one that super triples when it does. Our Ingles will triple maybe 3 or 4 times a year and only 3 coupons for every 10. They haven't tripled since Jan. so we are overdue. I read about Harris Teeter and all the others that triple often, and I'm so envious. (I need a green smilie)

You would think, since Kroger is a national chain that if some are accepting competitors coupons, they all would. I'm going to have to do some investigating. Maybe if I can find documentation that the other one's are doing it, then I can get mine to accept them, as well. wish me luck.
