O.k. this may seem like a silly question or maybe it's all just running together. But, can somebody tell me since when is a can of Chef Boyardee $2.00 on sale?

most of these "sale" items seem like a load of bullcrap to me too... there are a few good things but mostly not

Yup I agree, I'm not impressed. I'll be luck if I can get together one set of 10 to do. Oh well, maybe there will be unadvertised products like the last time they did it that might be better.

Last time they had this sale, I pulled the lists from the other Kroger Regions since it seemed like they had a lot more and when I got to the store they were included in ours too. So I just went and checked out a couple other forums and sure enough their lists are a bit larger than ours so I'm going to print those off and check those items to see if they are included again because it looks like a few of them could be good deals.

Might be worth checking out.

You are right on target, why can't they print this stuff in our ad?

First of all when you have the items rung up, a (+) sign will be right next to the item on the monitor and subsequently will print on you receipt. This makes it really easy to see if an item you thought was part of the deal is not working. A case in point. The brawny big roll is in our ad at 1.50 and part of the deal. The tag at Kroger says 1.50 but no mega deal tag and the (+) does not show up on the receipt so beware.

Dove ice cream (similar to Ben & Jerry's in price and size) is included and we have $1 coupons making final price $1. (Not that I NEED this-but when has need ever affected my shopping habits?)

Kozy shack no sugar added puddings in the 4 individual serve is included. Printable on smartsource.com give you $1 if you choose "jello" then "4-6". This makes the final price $1 good for me for Kozy shack.

Lysol toilet bowl cleaner is included use .50 coupon final price .50

NOT part of the mega deal. At last Kashi Vive is on sale for $3, use $2 printables or $2 coupons mailed from Kashi "club" makes it $1/box.

Cascadian farm berries are on sale again for $3 so use $1/1 makes them $2.

A few more comments, looks to me like the Edy's ice cream shrunk but I bought them anyway. I also agree this is not as good as sales in the past but almost everything I used to be able to get free I am now "paying for" at least 50¢ and sometimes up to $1 and feel for some items those days of free is gone. We have not had triples here in almost 3 years, and doubles are only to 50¢. I still do better than every non-couponer I know and feel their bill has gone up substantially as well I just don't see it.

Forgot to add, this deal goes through 08-02, so we may have a different set of deals once we know what next week's coupons will bring.

i thought with the dove coupons and the mega sale it made the dove ice cream .50? or at least thats what the other regions or saying

I think the Sargento is a good price if you have the 1.00/2 coupons. It would be about 2.66 per lb if you buy the 12 oz packages for 2.00 after coupons.

I am looking at my receipt. Sale price rung up at 2.50 -.50 mega event -$1 coupon still makes it $1 for me. Maybe their original price is lower than here, would not surprise me in the least.
