Kroger (Southeast) ~ Promo: New Promo Up to $120.00

I don't have my paper with me today, but yesterday Kroger ran an ad in the atlanta journal & const. that stated buy up to $1200 in gift cards and get extra 10% free up to $120.00 . You must buy in increments of 300.00 gift cards and the promo lasts until July 31, 2008.

I'm guessing this is one of the things the stores (not just Kroger but all stores) are doing to get their take on the Tax checks? I think places like Walmart, Kmart are doing the same thing, although I don't know the exact details of their offerings.

This is what the Kroger website says about it:

May 2nd through July 31st buy $300, $600 or $1200 worth of Kroger Gift Cards, and get an extra 10% added to the value - FREE!

Offer applies to in-store purchases only of new Kroger gift cards, and does not include re-loads on existing gift cards. This offer cannot be combined with any other discount or offer. Limit one offer per household, with Kroger Reward Card. Bonus amounts cannot be redeemed for alcohol, tobacco, pharmaceuticals or lottery tickets.

Thanks for the post. I didn't see it, until after I posted the Free Groceries thread. This will be a permanent sticky while the promotion is active.
