Ad matchups 2/13-2/19
Sorry, sorry everyone! This totally slipped my mind yesterday... busy day! There's lots to talk about this week, though...
As always, I remain technically challenged. So you can view the ad for this week by clicking here. (Does anyone have the ability and inclination to scan the ad each week? If so, let me know...)
This week, Kroger is doing an interesting version of the mega sale... the Daytona 500 sale. Buy 10 participating items and get $3 off instantly at the register AND a $3 OYNO to use on a later visit. Total savings of $6, and oh-so-rollable, I think.

Re: Kroger Ad matchups 2/13-219
I want to get several of the breyer's ice creams, but my store doesn't have the kind that I prefer. I have heard that you can price match even the mega events at Walmart if you buy the same number indicated for Krogers. Is that true??? I'd love to price match it and get the kind I really like. THX!!!

Re: Kroger Ad matchups 2/13-219
My walmart says that they do not match "special promotions" so they will match the before mega sale price not the price if you buy ten (2.99 for Breyers not 2.69). I would not be surprised if three walmarts gave you three different answers so it is probably worth a try but I just thought I would warn you that it has not worked for me in the past.

Re: Kroger Ad matchups 2/13-219
My Walmart will price match the promotional price if you buy the correct quantity and have the ad with you. But Kroger is also giving a $3 off OYNO Q when you buy 10 qualifying items. Walmart will not do this. I would definitely ask a manager before trying this price match. Each store (and even manager) seems to do their own thing, with little predictable consistency.
