QUESTION I don't shop Kroger regularly, so is this proper coupon usage?

With the frozen deal this week of save $5 WYB 10 participating frozen items can I use a $2 coupon on the Hungry Man dinners? They are 2.28, but when purchased as part of the 10, it will be 1.78. Will the coupon cause any problems at the register or is this not allowed? BTW, I will also be buying some frozen pizza and HC dinners to get to 10 items.

I don't usually shop Kroger because the nearest one is 30 miles away from home. However, DH just offered to do any simple deals I may have for Kroger because it is on his work comute. Thanks!

the prices ring up pre mega sale ( so the hungry man ring up $2.28)
your coupon will come off that amount.

the $5 is taken off the entire order...not just one specific thing. i hope that makes sense.

Looks like proper usage to me but just be warned, your version of "simple deals" vs your dh's version may vary a lot and may result in marriage counseling (dh can't use a coupon because he always botches the deal somehow)
    Good luck
