I was told this a.m. that I can't come through the line with just items that are free with coupons. That's a good one. What will they make up next...

I got 5 free Kraft BBQ, 2 Dressing for .69 each, 2 free Suave deo, 8 Hot pockets for .66 each and my usual milk, TP, and watermelon and a few other things, so I was alright-$47 went down to $15.
Has anyone else been told this? Forgive me if this has already been discussed~

And how exactly are they now regulating what you can and can't buy? We are not living in a communist society that tells you what you will and will not purchase at the store. How do they know if you have coupons that THEIR store doubles to make THEIR sale items free until they've already begun checking you out?
The stores have a right to enforce limits on sale items, but they DO NOT have a right to tell you what you can and can't buy and what legitimate coupons you can and can't use. I'd speak directly with the manager and if that doesn't work, call the corporate office.
I'd say grab a pack of .25 gum or chips and say...."THERE!, not everything in my order is going to end up free". What a bunch of idiots!
In the Southwest Virginia area? Check out my savings blog for this area HERE.![]()
Boy, what are the coupon police going to come up with next. Don't they realize they too can get the same deals? Sorry for the hassle. All the cashiers at my Kroger know me as the coupon lady with the huge red binder. They are always happy so see my great deals and if I have extras, I always pass on coupons to them.
