HAPPY DANCE Brag Thread..PLEASE POST ALL BRAGS IN THIS THREAD.

I was so shocked after my trip today to Kroger that I started to laugh nervously (of course, I also thought I was going to have a hard time with Kroger when I saw the total).

I went today because I had $8 in cats that were going to exp today. I got:

    2x Sunny Delight @ $1 each (10/10 sale)
    1x Disney Precut/packaged Apples @ $3 (on sale, thought they were $3.99)
    2x Celestial Seasonings Tea @ $1 each (10/10 sale)
    1x Pillsbury Honey Biscuits, 8 ct @ 1.39
    1x Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls, 8 ct @ $2.20
1x Pillsbury Flaky Twist, Chocolate $0.50 (manager special)
    --------------------------------------------------------
    -0.55 MQ (Sunny D)
-2.00 MQ ($1 each Celestial Seasonings)
-0.75 MQ (blinkie, off 3 any pillsbury item)
    -4.00 CAT - Glade
    -4.00 Cat - Glade

    Total Cost: $0.01

Coupon Savings & Kroger Card Savings: $19.37

Not to mention, I picked up a beer tag for up to $4 of the purchase of any bagged apples or any produce (nbpr). Hoping that means $2.99 MM. Either way, that is the CHEAPEST I have ever gotten any groceries.

Thank you all for all the tips and great info!

    Default Too much to list

I bought too much to list out, but will give totals. I didn't notice until I got home, but I didn't get the $15 I was due for the mega sale. I called after I got home and looked at the receipt, and they said it wasn't working today (my luck), and to bring my receipt in and they'd give me my $15. Why they didn't bother to tell me when I checked out that it wasn't working is beyond me.
Hubby was with me and rushing, or it would have been better. The girl I checked out through took forever with the coupons, and needed help on each one. The CSM helping her, looked at my coupon total when I was done, and said you did very good, if she only knew what it could have been. When the cashier got done she says, I've never been good with coupons, sure wish I could do this. Then I said, I didn't even get through the other 40 coupons I have with me., I thought her eyeballs were going to pop out. I used 37 the way it was.

    Anyway my totals:
    $88.67 before coupons
    $43.34 in coupons
oop $45.33 (should have been $30.33)
Total savings with coupons and Kroger Plus card $71.95

Ok...I guess it must have not been working for me either. I bought 20 items and my $10 didn't come off. The MANAGER told me that since I didn't buy 10 from each price grouping, I wouldn't get $10 off. B-S. And of course customer service is closed. But I will be calling in the morning and getting my money back. SO MAD, because it was otherwise a perfect transaction. All my shortcuts and e-saver Qs came off, and all my paper coupons were scanned and doubled as they should have been. My total was exactly what I thought it would be...plus $10

Default $78 of stuff for only $.40!!!

Just got back from Krgoer, and had to brag. I got:

10 boxes of Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate, $2.19, on sale for $1.00
20 boxes of Fruit by the Foot (Boo Berry & Franken Berry) $2.79, on sale for $.50
(They had a buggy full of them. I would have gotten more, but didn't want to be too greedy so I only got 20 .)

My coupons: (5) Swiss Miss $1/2 IP's (search the coupon database)

I got $5 off three times with the mega sales event specials!!!

    So:
    $77.70 retail
    -$57.70 sale discounts
    -$5.00 coupon discount
    -$15.00 mega sales discount
    = tax, which was $.40

You should have seen the look on the cashiers face. Priceless...
