No. you cannot use 3 coupons for one item. What she means is you can use 3 coupons for 3 like items. Say you are purchasing 4 jars of Ragu and have 4 different coupons. You cannot use all 4 coupons for 4 jars of Ragu, you can only use 3, for 3 jars of ragu and one you would have to buy with no coupon. HTH

no you can't use three Q's for the same item but you can use 3 identical Q's to buy 3 identical items, and all 3 will triple but if you have 4 Q's and buy 4 items then the first 3 coupons will triple but the 4th will not, it will be taken at face value.

thank you for clarifying. Yep, if you have 4 items, say 4 tubes of crest, and 4 $1.00 coupon, the first 3 will double the $1.00 (if your store doubles $1.00) and the 4th one will only take $1.00 off.

i don't think that exactly what they meant. You can usually only use 1 coupon per item purchased. Like if you have a yogurt coupon, you can only use 1 yogurt coupon per yogurt purchased. HOWEVER if you have 5 yogurt coupons and you buy 4 yogurts you can only use 4 of your coupons-1 for ea item purchased. ALSO she meant that they will only double 3 like coupons...so only 3 of those would be doubled. the 4th one would be accepted at face value. i.e. if they were .50 off yoplait. 3 of them would be doubled to value 1.00 off and the 4th would be accepted as just .50 off. i hth!!

now this all changes when you talk about stacking coupons.. you can usually use 1 manufacture coupon and 1 store coupon per item. so if you had a kroger coupon for .50 off yoplait, and a MFR coupon for .50 off they should both dbl to 1.00 off making it a total of 2.00 off... of course you probably wont ever have a .50 off one yoplait. lol. if that totaly re-confused you please let me know, i can try to break it down a little different. i'm new too, but this is just what i've gathered thus far.
