Kroger to Limit to 4 Like Coupons?

I was happy to see Buehler's step up with the doubles. Like Giant Eagle, they've discovered the secret of appealing to the high end shopper, and the price sensitive coupon customer. It's a winning combo, IMO. Kroger is willing to kick their coupon savvy shoppers to the curb, in their efforts to be seen as a Whole Foods type store. Good luck with that Kroger! I know Whole Foods, Buehler's, and Giant Eagle. All I can say is, IN YOUR DREAMS Kroger!!!!!

Giant Eagle has been awesome to couponers lately. It wasn't too long ago that they were not very coupon friendly. Are you listening Kroger?

I was just responding to the earlier reply that Kroger is going to stop doubling. I have a friend that is very high up at corporate. He has told me that there is no way kroger is going to stop doubling, because since they started it there business has increased 72% so no worries its here to stay. Love KROGERS.

They obviously forgot that in TX, where they ended BOTH d/t Qs 4/13/11 in the Houston/Gulf Coast area, and NOW it's spreading to other stores in the state.

I went in yesterday (Columbus, OH) and used 8 like coupons and they all doubled, no problem. Today, I went in with 16 more and asked to do 2 transactions and she said that they are only allowing 3 like coupons, but can do multiple transactions. So, she made me do 6 separate transactions. Held up the entire line and the people behind me were getting frustrated.

For God's sake, just run the coupons if the register will allow you too. They are getting too ridiculous on this. It's not like I'm cleaning shelves.
