Kroger Great Lakes - Need deals for store that double $1

I'm making a trip to the Howell Kroger since I'm already going to be out that way. I'm trying to make my list now. Any good deals out there for stores that double up to $1??

Sorry KVA, I was busy all weekend and just saw your plea for help. Did you go yet and did you think of passing by VG's as well, cause they are doing double dollars as well.

I went and happened to pass by VGs. Never knew where it was. The next time I go, I will stop by VGs as well. I did find out the hard way that Kroger doesn't double coupons that say DND. I never ran in to that in the past. They must be having problems because they had flyers at each register stating their coupon policy. No split orders. Sounds like they are trying to rein in some people and their couponing practices.

I did get cans of Skintimate for $.24 that had a bonus Schick Quattro razor attached. That was worth paying $.24 for. I think I did pretty well.

I should mention the Kroger in Howell had the red KitchenAid knife set on clearance for $49.99, down from $99.99. If I had the money to spare, I so would've gotten it.

kval07, Glad you found some good deals at the 2x$1 Kroger. I have found most stores don't double DND coupons and have a limit of 3 like coupons per transaction. The stores in my area (flint) will not do back to back orders and will stop you if you come back more than 2x a day. I have to say it's a little nicer cause the shelf's stay a little fuller. As for VG, you can get some pretty good deals from time to time.
