OMG Have you heard of this crazy coupon policy?

Yep, as Lady Margaret has already stated, that IS in their IP policy. I discussed this with a store manager once when we were teaching coupon classes at Kroger.

What I found funny is I asked her about a .50 IP on an item that is on sale for $1.
Do I get to use the coupon, because technically .50 IP is only 50% value of the item, however, with doubling, I would still get the item free.

She didn't know the answer
I have noticed it is a policy that is rarely enforced at my stores. Sorry op, sounds like you found an coupon unfriendly store

Update - I talked to corp., the store manager, the head cashier, and the service desk manager. The girl that showed me the memo about coupons had it folded in a way that I could not see the heading was about IP's. They were beyond belief at what she pulled on me yesterday. I got the money owed to me, their sincere apologies, and a $5.00 gift card. . . and they will be talking to her about this mess.
