Greetings G.L. Shoppers.

I would love to hear your suggestions re: our Forum. How do you like to see the deals posted? Do you like to see what Kroger coupons are coming in the mail or what coupons were getting at the checkout? Let's make our place rock!

I would love to see ads posted early if anyone has access.

I love coming home on Fridays and checking out the Meijer ad, and I want to be able to do the same thing for Kroger. I can't stay up past midnight on Saturday night trying to wait for it to go live. I'm getting old in my young age.

I would LOVE it if the ads were posted with Q matchups. I know it's alot of work though.

All of the above! I just think we need more action in here so people will check in more. I also participate in the Giant Eagle forum and there are deal posts and a separate chat post each week (although not sure we need to separate those at this point) plus separate posts for any especially great or hidden deals. There is always something to learn when I go there so I check often.

I'd like to see the deals posted the same way the Walgreens deals are posted (copied below). As I find deals I will help post them in that format to help the mods.

AD Q: Coupon value and page #
RR: Brief description of RR deal AND/OR ad page # AND/OR link to deal thread
MATH: How you got to the total so if there's a mistake, others can catch it.

Well I see we all agree that the ad needs to be posted earlier. I can usually get one sometime on Saturday late morning to early afternoon. I have been posting a link to the ad scans as early as I can, I can still do that and then edit for the coupon match ups.

Jomarcie, I do like the walgreens format, simple to read with everything you need in it. So we will do the Walgreens format.

If anyone lives near Kroger they get the ads on Thursdays and have always given me one when Ive asked for it but Im 40 minutes away and rarely there on Thursday.

I'd be glad to help with coupon matchups. I have my own blog and I do them for my blog anyway. I don't usually do complete ad matchups...just what I think is worth the trouble. Some "deals" at Kroger are anything but!

I agree. I used to do matchups for GL, but when their sale prices started to turn in to Meijers' non-sale prices, I quit. There isn't much exciting in those ads. But it never fails that every week I get excited for the ad. I haven't been to Kroger in months, lol.
