I check Shortcuts and Cellfire a couple times a month and add whatever new coupons that I think there is the faintest possibility that I may use. It takes 2 minutes, it's free, no printing, etc. and then when they come off on my receipt it's usually a pleasant surprise!

What I mean by "catch", is when you go to the shortcuts site, and for example, you want the new $2 off when you buy 2 Healthy Choice, there is a "view offer restrictions". This restriction is you have to add your card from one of the other stores in the Kroger family. I don't shop at any of those, therefore I can't get the coupon. Check it out.
Alert:Q. Can I use a manufacture coupon with an E-Coupon?
A. Yes.
When you click on +more info on your coupon on the Kroger card site, it specifically states "Limit one coupon per item. Digital coupons and paper coupons may not be combined on the purchase of a single item."
Is this new? Sure doesn't seem like you can use a manuf coupon with the E-coupon anymore. Anyone have any clarification on this?

Update:
Hi everyone
I know that Kroger's e-coupon policy can be confusing, and they really don't make it very easy for us to clarify the rules.
But from here on out (1/12/11), please DO NOT post any deals in this forum that involve combining an e-coupon (Shortcuts, Cellfire or otherwise) AND a paper manufacturer's coupon on the purchase of one item.
I know, I know. Some stores let you do it anyway.
But it's very much a YMMV situation. And, on top of that and more importantly, it is HCW's policy not to allow posts about using coupons in a fraudulent way or in a way that breaks the store policies. And as both e-coupons and paper coupons are technically manufacturer's coupons, that would clearly go against the general "one manufacturer's coupon per item purchased" rule that most stores go by.
I hope you understand the reason for this policy. Should Kroger ever issue an official position on this in writing, I will update this post. I won't be issuing warnings or infractions for posts that were made prior to this announcement because that wouldn't be fair.
