Kellogg rebate and krogers specials= free milk!!

I went to Krogers to do the Fuel for School rebate.

Krogers also has a special if you buy 4 participating Kelloggs, Keebler, or Sunshine products and they give you 2 free gallons of milk any flavor, limit 4 milks with the purchase of 8 items.

The Kelloggs rebate is 10 items on their list and you get $10 back in the mail.


So here is what I picked up, all were $2.50 each:

2 Crispix cereal
1 Flips cracker
3 Keebler cookies
2 Mini Wheats Big Bites
1 Cheezit
1 Rice Crispy Treat

What I recieved for FREE: (on sale for $1.59 each normally more like $2+)

2 gallons 2%
2 gallons chocolate milk
(I am going to freeze, I hope it works out)

Spent:$25.00
Coupons: $4.00
Rebate: $10.00

End total spent: $11, price per item: $.79

So I figure that $.79 cents a piece isn't to bad.

Plus this just gets me closer to getting money off on their gas which will save even more, even if I get $.10 off a gallon my total will probably go down by half. I hate to buy sweets but for the price I figure what the heck I'll put a little in school lunches or something...lol.

The "2 Free Milk wyb" is just this week, as far as I know. Fuel For School Rebate is valid thru 9/30/09 (must be postmarked by 10/3/09).
