Expired coupons...

I thought I had seen that some Kroger stores takes expireds.. does anyone know how far past their date they can be? I am not sure what the policy is but found out quite by accident that my store accepts some expireds. Seeing as I cannot get the same answer twice from employees, I am not really sure what their policy is regarding these. Any help would be appreciated.

I haven't tried expired coupons in a long time at my Kroger. They 'officially' stopped taking them quite a few years ago here. I am in Flint, MI.
