I thought these threads were meant to give us a preview of the sale, before it started? It seems like in this forum the threads don't go up before the first or second day of the sale? Is that the way it's supposed to work?

Always in the past we (members) had always been aloud to post the ad previews including matchups. Whoever got their hot hands on it first posted it. I was told not to do this any longer unless it was in a thread started by the Kroger Mod.

I do not understand why and would love if an admin or super mod would jump in here and let us know why this change was brought about.

I totally understand that our wonderful forum mod is busy and has a life outside of HCW like all of us do and I dont fault her for not being able to always get the threads started early enough or at all.

But I do find it really silly and irritating that we as members are not aloud to share information with one another.

This forum has been very quiet since last year I dont know if its where we lost our mod and didnt have one for a while or if its b/c lack of great sales Kroger has given us or what. But Id love to see us become as active as we were last year and start helping each other out again.

Hey guys!!

You guys have been great posting pictures of the ads and posting coupon matches!! I just wanted to apologize if I might have been confused about putting the ads up. If anyone gets the ad sooner and no one has posted it, Feel free to make a new thread and post the ad. :smile77: I don't have to start it, you guys can and I was confused about that but it's all cool now. So go ahead and post the ads the moment you guys get 'em!!

I think whoever gets their hands on a new ad should post it ASAP-if they have the time! The whole point is everyone wants to know/see the new ad in order to get the ball rolling on trading for coupons.

*sob* We got our Kroger flyer in the mail and I finally had time to review it today and was SOOOO excited to see "double coupons up to $1" on the front!! Woo hoo. UNTIL I NOTICED IT SAID FOR HOWELL KROGER STORE (which is over 1hr away from me). I have no clue why they sent the Howell flyer to my address. Completely crushed my Kroger buzz for the week!!

Some decent prices for me though:

My store, in GLR, is having the banansa for .29/lb as part of a 4 -day sale this Thurs. thru Sun. Also, my Pepsi is 3 for $10 plus get the free bag of chips.

This week's ad does seem pretty lame, IMO. :shrug7:

Since I quit shopping there so much (maybe twice a month), Kroger has mailed me two books with coupons. They don't understand that I already have coupons, they just don't have the sales to get me in there!

im finally back on line... i usually get the ad friday at noon so as soon as i get home and take pictures i will post it... ;)

I sure have missed the net.. with the move it took them 2 weeks to hook us up.. ughhhhhhhh

the person that got the wrong ad i would try to take it into kroger,, maybe they will still honor it.. and if not it was worth a shot... this week i got lots of freebies..... well a lot of the same thing lol
