I don't know if my family will even like these, however I thought this was a pretty good deal.. Bagelfuls are 2/$4. Ther is a coupon machine hanging on the freezer door with q's for $0.55.. doubled for $1.10 off.

Making them $0.90 a box.

*splutters* I should petition my Kroger to start doubling Q's over .50 cents. Such good deals!

Today I bought 10 bags of the Betty Crocker cookie mixes. They were 10/$10 and I had $0.40 q's doubled... Total out of pocket was $2.00

I went to Kroger today with DH and tried to unload quite a few coupons. Of course, DH is of the sane mind saying "This will go bad before we can even eat it" and I'm of the "let's get as many things as cheap as we can!" mind. It can be quite a conflict so needless to say, we didn't get as many things as I had thought we might get but DH was really nice and we did quite a few things for pretty cheap (compared to what we used to be paying).

Anyways, here's what we got:

4 boxes of Cheerios cereals
1 gallon of nonfat skim milk
12 chef boyardee canned pastas
1 box whole wheat pasta
1 head of lettuce
2 green bell peppers
1 thinger of celery (a stalk? I dunno, it's celery lol!)

Last night I got free Suave deoderant. It was clearanced out to $.71 and I used a $.50 coupon, doubled to make it free.

My savings amount is very off...on the receipt, it's like 53.39...but that doesn't include like at least 20.00 from the clearance. I got the egg beaters for .10 and the regular price is 1.99 (bought 4). The bolthouse was 1.99, regular 3.99 and I got 5 of these. I can't wait to see if I have any other coupons that will give me extra free stuff...the powerade was my MM. I made I think .30 on each of them!
