Hi there! I am not sure what state you live in, but I am in Ohio and I have to pay taxes on the PRE coupon price of all taxables. That may be what threw your numbers off!

I can't believe I didn't post my good deal on here!

On the 21st, I went to Kroger. I think I posted this about kroger restocking? Anyways, I got 5 packages of cottonelle tp for free! *dances!* I may get more. I had a dream last night I had even more tp. It was awesome! Then I proceeded to have nightmares about zombies. That wasn't so awesome.

Moving on.

The next day, December 22nd, DH and I went back to Kroger. We got 3 bottles of Tropicana, 2 bottles of Verners Ginger Ale, 4 boxes of Banquet Pot Pies, 1 bottle of Parmesan Cheese. I should mention, we paid with OYNO catalinas and with various Q's picked up from CVS. We also paid with the money we got from Kroger for recycling our bottles there (I live in Michigan) Kroger paid us $2.30 to take all this out! I was pleased. So was DH.

And I'm hoping to get more good deals today. We'll see!

Ok, went back to Kroger today. I made a boo boo and bought 2 Pantene shampoos thinking I had a B1G1 eSAVERS Q on there for the shampoos.... nope! It was buy 1 Pantene shampoo, get 1 Pantene styler free! Argh! So I spent $4 for these two shampoos. (They were $3.49 each and I had a -$3.00 coupon for them). I was thinking I'd get one taken off (free) then -$3.00 and they'd be 49 cents for 2. Uh, no. So here's a tip... make sure you have the right coupons for these deals. LOL! My bad! and I don't think I can use it for the P&G coupon book because they rang up as plain ol' "Shampoo" on the receipt! Oh well. Lesson learned! I'll just suck it up and take the hit.

Anyways, onwards to what I got.

8 bounty single roll paper towels
11 Tropicana 2 liters
3 Pounce cat treats
1 pouch of dog treats
1 half-gallon skim milk
2 bags of Kroger tortilla chips
2 Pantene shampoos
2 cans of beans
------------------------
$53.33 (this is including tax)
-$13.00 (store coupons for using a kroger card)
-$20.50 Manu Q's (some doubled at 50 cents, so that is why that is so high)
---------------------
$19.83 paid. 64% saved.

I'm pleased overall.

I saw that! It was really picked over but had some good stuff left! The candy was 25% off at mine. I would have totally bought some if they were 75% off too, but as if my hips need more chocolate attached to them!

Woo! That's awesome JenB! I'm too scared to do this deal if it doesn't take it off. Budget is super tight this month and I just can't take the chance it won't come off. :-/
