Thanks for the info. I've been waiting for a decent deal on these. I'm finally running low on Duracell after stocking up at the KMart fiasco three years ago. :) Also, there's a $1/1 from October 31 P&G inserts, on 4 ct or larger.

Has anyone tried this yet? Last year the $15 accumulated on the ORGINAL price (versus the sale price) making the deal even sweeter! I have to run out later, so I will try to check it out and report back.

IT WORKS ON THE ORIGINAL PRICE!!

Yesterday I went to Kroger (Cincinnati region) and purchased 4 packs of batteries for $1.98 each (original price = $3.85 each). I used 4 $1/1 qs AND got the cat!!

$7.92 - $4 - $3 = $.92 for four packs of batteries!!!
